Top Spirit
I designed multiple lines of Soccer Balls, Footballs, Volleyballs, and other sports and fitness equipment for Top Spirit, one of the numerous in-house brands I work on under the Capelli Sports umbrella.
Focusing on casual players and impulse purchases, Top Spirit uses less expensive materials, and manufacturing processes, but emphasizes the surface design of each ball to make it more of a lifestyle statement than a performance oriented piece of equipment.

Giraffe Safari
In this project I was tasked with creating and developing a line of wood toys to extend the "Giraffe Safari" line for Skip Hop.
Highlights of this project include the Xylophone seen to the left, the Fold and Play Book, and Stacking Animals.
The focus on aesthetics came second only to the play value offered by each item.
Zoo Products
This is a range of products from the Skip Hop Zoo collection.
Products in this line cross categories from school accessories like the backpack shown left to feeding products to items for the car.
I worked on various aspects of these products, from full product design (Bat Backpack, Mirrors, Seat Belt Covers) to designing pieces of final products (closure on lunch boxes, utensils + holder for thermos)
OshKosh B'Gosh Accessories
At Vida Shoes, we created designs and prototypes for various backpacks and other accessories that unfortunately never went into full production.
The WBO backpack shown at left was my personal favorite. It combined hickory denim (an OshKosh trademark) with dark blue denim and faux-leather details like the logo clover lash-tab on the flap.
GoZone Gliding Discs
This project was started with the question of how to improve a simple workout implement like gliding discs.
I conceived and designed a system that allows one to use them on hard surfaces, and carpets and allows them to be strapped to your feet or each other for bilateral workouts.
Field & Bleacher Chair
For this project we wanted to develop a traditional bleacher seat, a small foldable seat with hooks to keep it in place on bleachers, mixed with a sideline chair with foldable legs for sitting on grass.
This is the first prototype we received based on my designs.
Head® 2 Person Snow Sled
We developed a line of seasonal items for Head including sleds, snow tubes, and other winter toys.
Caribbean Joe Canopy Float
This project entailed designing a large inflatable lounge with a retractable canopy. Pictured is the top of production.
Caribbean Joe 6-Person Lake and River Float
This is a very large inflatable lounge with multiple added features including a built in cooler, back rests, cup holders and canopy.
CocoBongo Scallop Top Pool
I developed this scallop top inflatable pool with a gusset to make the sides extra comfortable to lean against while adding more structural support.
